Twist Conveyor is designed specifically for the printing and binding
industries. It enables a 30 degree change in the product orientation to square
it for downstream trimming operations. Infeeds go from a level surface to 30
degree, while discharges go from a 30 degree surface to one that is level.
The unit actually consists of two Slip-Torque conveyor beds mounted at an
appropriate angle to one another to accomplish the task. In addition to squaring
the product for trimming, the 30 degree Twist Conveyor enables low back pressure
queuing for the operation.
