Apr 29, 2009 Hugger Belt Clamshell labeling system consists of hugger belt product transport system with infeed belt conveyor. Top/bottom labeling system has stainless steel and anodized aluminum construction and pair of Model 3115 Wipe-On label applicators. Containers, filled or empty, are conveyed at speeds of up to 70/min then transferred on hugger belt system, exposing the top and bottom container panels for label application. Pressure sensitive lales are applied with placement accuracy of ± 1/32 in.
