Hydraulic Tensioning Systems are designed to reproduce the actions of a gravity weight system for automatically tensioning a conveyor belt.

The Hydraulic Spring Tensioner (Hi-Spring) gives all the advantages of a gravity loop with a winch tensioning system to give a smooth start to long conveyors where large amounts of elastic stretch have to be accommodated.

Located within the width and at the rear of a standard loop the hydraulic tensioner can be engineered to fit existing loop take-up arrangements and once operative there is no constant adjustments of weights or maintaining of rotary parts and brakes.
