Multi-screw feeders share features of standard screw feeders along with
addtional benefits:
* Able to unload from a wider inlet than a feeder with a single screw
* Can help reduce stackup height (multiple small screws can equal the output of
single larger screw)
* Often used to handle challenging materials such as wood chips and compost
Units can be built with odd or even numbers of screw sections. Power options
include having individual drives for each screw section or using a spur gears or
chain and sprocket arrangement to have multiple screws powered by the same
drive.
