The motor-controlled, zero-pressure accumulator conveyor from Alba Manufacturing makes pallet accumulation simple and reliable by eliminating pneumatic clutches, zone-to-zone chains and PLC controls, the company says. Photoelectric sensors directly control the conveyor's 230/460 VAC motors, and every accumulation zone is driven with a separate drive, eliminating mechanical and pneumatic components and associated maintenance costs.
