The son of the founder, Michael White is the current chairman of the Rite-Hite
Organization. Over 1800 employees are placed in more than 100 locations
throughout the world. Rite-Hite places strong emphasis on research and
development, leading to new products that pioneer the industry.
2001: Looking to grow in Europe, Rite-Hite approached the market leader for
telescopic conveyors and Caljan A/S soon became part of the Rite-Hite
organization.
1965: Founded by Mr. Arthur K. White in Milwaukee, USA, Rite-Hite Holding
Corp. soon became recognized as the world’s leading supplier of loading dock and
industrial safety products.
Europe today
Caljan Rite-Hite has approx. 400 employees, production facilities in Denmark
and Latvia and sales offices in Holland, UK, France, USA, Germany and Belgium.
Together with our network of distributors, we are able to service customers
world-wide.
2008: Caljan Rite-Hite acquired LogComp GmbH, who produce belt curves and
labeling equipment.
2004: SAFEtrack telescopic conveyor system was launched in Europe.
Anticipating health and safety legislation, this popular machine for
loading/unloading is still the safest on the market today.
2003: CAEMA Verladesysteme GmbH, one of Germany’s leading manufacturers of dock equipment was acquired by Rite-Hite and fused with the European organization.
